Testimonials
" It's impossible to give adequate thanks to my cello teacher Alice. Her kindness, patience and thoughtfulness had such a positive impact on my life and as I grow into a happy adult she deserves indescribable credit. Wherever I go my Suzuki training has given me a home. Whenever I have moved to a new city I've always found a welcoming community with the local orchestra. So practice, practice, practice and you'll always have friends! "
- James Giordani, Cello Alumni
" One of my favorite things about growing up studying the Suzuki method was getting to go to different Suzuki violin workshops, institutes, and camps where I could meet new people and make new friends. It made a huge impression on me that places existed where I could "find my people"--other Suzuki kids, and, more broadly, other musicians. It was through music, through violin, through Suzuki, that I first felt a real sense of belonging. This is part of what I think is so influential about the Suzuki method and the philosophy behind it: its ability to nurture children to simultaneously become musicians and empathetic humans. The seeds that the Suzuki method planted in me grew and continue to grow far beyond my musical life. "
- Giancarlo Latta, Violin Alumni
